The Longbow Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering combat Veterans as they transition from active duty to civilian life. Our unique hunting experiences offer selected Veterans the opportunity to rediscover their purpose and develop individualized strategies for personal growth outside of the military.
“The Longbow Foundation didn’t start in a boardroom, or with a business plan. It started in the cockpit of an AH-64D Apache Longbow, thousands of feet above the treacherous topography of the Hindu Kush Mountains in Afghanistan, where I flew through countless nights, scanning the terrain for threats, knowing that the men and women flying beside me and on the ground depended on my persistent focus for survival. It started in the relentless adrenaline of combat operations, where there was no room for error, and the mission always came first. It started in the moments between those missions—where I witnessed firsthand the weight that combat places on the shoulders of those who fight monsters…”
The Hunt is a therapeutic adventure designed to help veterans reconnect with nature, build camaraderie, and find peace. Through guided hunts, veterans experience the healing power of the outdoors while developing new skills, bonding with peers, and reflecting on their journeys. This unique experience not only offers therapy in nature but also helps veterans regain a sense of purpose and strength. The Hunt is more than just an outdoor activity—it’s a path to healing, growth, and a renewed sense of self for those navigating life after service.
The Roadmap is designed to help Veterans define their vision and create a mission plan for life after service. Through self-reflection, goal-setting, and strategic planning, we guide Veterans in identifying what they truly want—whether it’s a new career, personal growth, or community impact. We provide the tools and support to set clear goals, break them into actionable steps, and stay on track. With the right mindset and resources, Veterans can transform their vision into a fulfilling reality. The Roadmap empowers Veterans to take charge of their future and build a meaningful life.
The Network goes beyond veterans—it connects you with individuals from diverse backgrounds who bring valuable insights and expertise.
